On Tuesday March 18, 2014 Oracle will release the first version of Java 8. Persons who choose to install the Java 8 GA JRE (Java Runtime Environment) in their browser will not be able to log into COOL.
If you install Java 8 GA JRE from your browser, please revert back to the current commercial release of JAVA’s JRE 7 (currently 7u51) in order to file documents through this Web site. IF YOU CANNOT DO SO AND MUST MAKE A TIME SENSITIVE FILING, PLEASE CONTACT THE CLERK FOR ADVICE.
We are working closely with State of Illinois’ Internet Security Software Provider to resolve the issue. Modifications are being made to allow full functionality of these products with Java 8GA.
As always, please feel free to contact the IPCB Webmaster with any questions or concerns.
